Thursdays are lab days and they are my favourite because we get to practice assessments on each other.
There are two classrooms, one with 4 people, the other with 6. The instructor starts out in the other (main) lab room and sometimes forgets about us for a while. Of course, we capitalize on this opportunity by being very professional.
Last week we worked on cardiac and lung assessments, so of course we had to add a nice strip tease to the process. Luckily our instructor has a great sense of humor, so when she walked in on us, she laughed and told us to keep our ta-tas to ourselves and get back to work.
Being a nurse is going to be great.
