i like planning...

...OTHER people's weddings.

You see, when it's someone else's wedding, you can make suggestions, but they make all the decisions and you can just do the fun coordinating part.

Today's annoyance:
Having multiple people tell me to just choose a color (i have been having troubles with every single detail). So i go ahead and choose a color. Apparently (according to the very same people) it's the wrong color.

HOW CAN THERE BE A WRONG COLOR?! Aren't all colors created equal?!

"it's too dark" "it's too light" "it's not enough contrast to the scenery" "it doesn't match the [ugly] church" "it's more of a winter-wedding color"

Sheesh.

Bride Tip: Do whatever the hell YOU want to do.

It's your wedding.

=)

P.S. Good luck with that.

Ditto on Nikol.

Although I am always partial to reds. I care not for this "summer wedding" "spring wedding" color scheme imposing. Do whatever you please. Just don't pick out a horrible cut on your bridesmaid's dresses and no one can fault you.

jane, i will have to agree with the other commenters... and if your bridesmaids dont like it, remind them that its your wedding, and they are doing it for you... that worked on me... lol

That's right! Tell the bridesmaids to go score their own beaus and plan their weddings with every color of the friggin' rainbow!

But for now, this is YOUR day, YOUR wedding, YOUR moment to shine, and you want to pick YOUR color!

Now go get a pedicure and feel better.
