However, rides cost a lot of money, especially when you try converting pretty money to boring money, (i.e., Cdn-->US $) So, in order to support me and Jacob's habit, i smiled at a creepy, crawly carnie. And it paid off! We got half a dozen free rides!! LOL
Apparently i was so cute* that not only were we given unlimited rides on his fun and exciting roller-coaster, but each time we went on it, he gave me more tickets to go on other rides. Now, some people, with over-active imaginations (*cough* anika *cough*), might suggest that he was doing this so that he could touch a real, live woman, who had actually showered within the last month. cringe!Thankfully, we don't have any pictures of the aforementioned carnie, so i can pretend that the whole thing never happened!! :) Besides, look how happy Jacob was!
*please do not consider the source!
Alright, i just read this mornings paper and i must coment on the article that says (and i quote), "This isn't the first time Simpson has had the adoption urge; apparently, she wanted to adopt a child from Mexico for her sixteenth birthday present." Ok, nevermind-- i can't comment; i'm speechless.

Now that's what I call "Takin' one for the team!"
Way to go Janie!
You totally took one for the team ...
Does anyone else find it slightly suspicious that Janie looks so happy in the pic?
Juuuuuuuuust joking ... But boy, do you guys look tanned!

marianne, maybe you should bring the fam up here. we have the PNE, which doesn't allow creepy carnies!
I am a creepy carnie.
Man, you guys are so mean....
NICE.
That's actually quite excellent, and I would probably tell everyone I know about how the creepy carnie and I were going to get married and produce children who would grow up to be the bearded woman, fattest man, and perhaps some "werewolf" people as well.
A girl can dream ;)
